For this Snoopy-themed baby shower, I wanted to bring the world of Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang to life with thoughtful, custom details woven throughout the event. Every element was intentionally designed to feel immersive, nostalgic, and playful—staying true to the charm of the beloved comic.
Challenges and Adaptation
This event also brought a new challenge—balloon design. It was my first time working extensively with balloons, and I hadn’t anticipated needing more small ones to achieve the look I envisioned. With limited resources, I had to pivot, incorporating larger balloons than planned while still maintaining a balanced and cohesive design. Despite this adjustment, the final setup was a success, and the client was thrilled with how everything came together.
Bringing the Theme to Life
From large-scale props to the tiniest personalized touches, no detail was overlooked. I engineered Snoopy’s doghouse as centerpieces, hand-painted a sky-inspired backdrop with clouds, and even crafted a mini lemonade stand reminiscent of Lucy’s advice booth. The welcome sign was created entirely from scratch, not being able to find a reference for a snoopy themed welcome sign, I went with something from the top of my head— a vision of how it could tie the theme together seamlessly. To add an extra layer of detail, I designed custom Snoopy branding on giveaways, made Snoopy comic paper cones for charcuterie treats, and even printed customized napkins featuring a Peanuts comic with reworded dialogue to match the baby shower theme.
One of my favorite builds was a street pole, adding a whimsical touch that transported guests straight into the Peanuts world.
Thoughtful Design Meets Storytelling
This event was more than just decoration—it was an immersive experience, with every element thoughtfully crafted to evoke nostalgia and joy. It reinforced my passion for creating interactive, theme-driven environments, where even the smallest details contribute to a bigger story.
